It’s here! Matchday 1 of the FIFA Club World Cup Fantasy game. With 32 teams, a short tournament window, and plenty of unknowns, managers are scrambling to find the right balance of stars, starters, and differentials.

Real Madrid are the early favourites, with Vinicius Jr. and Mbappe leading ownership charts. Jude Bellingham remains a popular pick despite deeper positioning. Porto, Flamengo, and Manchester City assets also feature heavily in early drafts.

Squad rotation will play a major role, particularly in the group stage as teams aim to secure knockout qualification early. Expect full-blown Pep Roulette with Manchester City’s deep 25-man squad featuring new faces like Rayan Cherki, Rayan Aït-Nouri, and Tijjani Reijnders. Don’t be shocked if some of your star picks are benched by Matchday 3.

In defence, Flamengo’s Léo Pereira offers value, while Hakimi, Trent, and Inter Milan’s Denzel Dumfries bring upside at a higher price.

In midfield, Franco Mastantuono offers great value as a budget enabler, while Kingsley Coman stands out as a strong differential to the popular Michael Olise, with Cole Palmer remaining a reliable fantasy option.

Up front, Haaland, Mbappe, and Kane dominate most squads, but several exciting differentials could shake up the template, including Kolo Muani, who’s been confirmed in Juventus’ Club World Cup squad.
