MIDWEEK MAYHEM

Tuesday brings this season’s third and final midweek deadline to FPL managers, sandwiched right between Blank Gameweek 32 and Double Gameweek 34.

However, this quick turnaround hasn’t stopped Scout’s articles. Deputy Editor Tom has frisked the fixtures to pick out the most appealing teams and players for the remaining six rounds, whilst also picking out the best differential options for Gameweek 33.

Meanwhile, Editor Neale is updating the press conference team news round-ups, with owners of Ivan Toney relieved to see the forward reach Brentford’s 32-match threshold, meaning he’ll avoid suspension whenever a tenth booking arrives.

There’s even a piece from Pro Pundit Simon March, revealing which players he’d pick in a Gameweek 33 Wildcard. Over 66% of managers still have one to use.

Pre-deadline, there will also be the usual Scout Picks, Watchlist, Great and the Good analysis and Rate My Team points projections. Lateriser will drop by with a look at whether meetings of two top teams should continue being labelled as ‘difficult’ for participating players.
