THE 59TH MINUTE PODCAST IS BACK
🎉 We are delighted to announce that FPL General has signed a multi-year deal to join the FFScout team. The much loved ‘59th Minute FPL Podcast’ will make a return, now powered by Scout.
💬 We asked General for his top tip ahead of DGW29 and this is what he said: “Resist the temptation to sell Bukayo Saka this week. The 3rd highest scoring player in the game plays Leeds at home who will be without Max Wober and Tyler Adams. Don’t fall in to the DGW trap. Find another way to bring in your targets.”
📰 From next week you’ll be able to read General’s thoughts on the week on our website.

DOUBLE TROUBLE
Back with a bang after the international fortnight, a dozen teams are about to play twice in 2022/23’s biggest Double Gameweek. Naturally, this has led to many FPL community discussions on whether to Bench Boost (Pras), which cheap attacking and defensive names are best for this and which players are ideal for those who don’t have a Free Hit for later usage.
As well as a Big Numbers round-up of intriguing statistics, team-specific articles have been written on Liverpool’s worrying away form, how Manchester United will cope without the suspended Casemiro and inspecting if West Ham United’s promising two matches are worth investment.
Our fixture frisk assesses Gameweeks 29 to 34, although former champion Simon March wonders if it’s wrong to calculate players on an upcoming run of games when instead we could focus on that one specific match with haul potential. Meanwhile, Lateriser looks at ‘Big Game Salah’, goalkeeping pairings are evaluated for certain circumstances and we gathered the opinions of several Pro Pundits and site commenters on whether to keep or sell Arsenal players.
Some painstaking research has gone into each international player’s game time, although there is still mystery over the true availability of Erling Haaland and Marcus Rashford. One star ready to shine is Alexander Isak, featured in both our Watchlist and Spot the Differential lists.
In other news, Jon Ballantyne is the new leader of our Live Hall of Fame and there have been managerial changes at both Crystal Palace and Tottenham since Gameweek 28. Some Rate My Team points projections have also been published.
