BRIGH-TOON DOUBLES

Forgive the poor pun but it’s time for Double Gameweek 36, where high-flying Seagulls and Magpies will continue their migration towards European football. A place with seeds. Oh… is that even worse? Tweet if so.

Because of this, the week’s main conversation topics revolve around Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion. Their players dominate our Scout Squad picks and Rate My Team projections, with Pro Pundits Tom and Zophar both exploring the idea of an Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson double-up.

‘Spot the Differential’ promotes the maverick purchase of their team-mate Joe Willock, one of several names also suggested to replace the possibly-injured Solly March.

The Brighton winger’s hamstring problem has come at an inconvenient time and FPL General is torn between a straightforward transfer to Alexis Mac Allister or taking a more exciting route as he chases rank.

He likes Arsenal assets, as do our Watchlist rankings. Furthermore, if we use the small sample size of ‘The Great and the Good’ managers, many rolled over last week’s free transfer to allow more flexibility with two this time.

Elsewhere, a Big Numbers article delves into some of the more interesting recent statistics, whilst our updated live Hall of Fame rankings give a new leader. Arsenal and Leeds United’s weaknesses have also been explored.

As always, check out our Gameweek 36 page for a quick way to access all recent articles and visit our Members Area for comparison tools and an in-depth collection of Opta data.

Over on our YouTube channel, we have the team selections of Az, Gianni and David Munday, alongside Joe and Marc’s discussion on whether to captain a Double Gameweek option. Plus there’s the usual brilliance of Scoutcast and Goals Imminent.

It was announced in February that Premier League player cards are available in Sorare, and Fantasy Football Scout is back with articles to help you through your Sorare experience.

Sorare is a cross between a fantasy game and a classic sticker album, which allows you to buy, sell, and trade digital collectible cards and then use them to compete in free-to-play games to win prizes.

We have a full beginners guide to the main Sorare game on our site

The rules are quite different from FPL but we have regular editorial to explain these and suggest picks, plus a video intro - but the easiest way is to play full Sorare now!
