The torturous Gameweek 11 will go down in FPL history as one of the worst of all time, with a devastating combination of highly-owned blanks, early withdrawals, red cards and shockingly low scores.

Popular captains Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland failed in seemingly straightforward matches. The Norwegian departed at half-time with a knock and – even though both he and Matty Cash are no longer flagged – Bukayo Saka and James Maddison remain doubts for Gameweek 12, adding further misery to those feeling optimistic of immediately bouncing back.

Spurs defenders Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero were sent off, whilst Dan Burn’s half-time injury denied owners a clean sheet and now gives them a two-month absence to deal with. Especially considering their next opponents have conceded the most set-piece chances so far.
