✍️ THE SCOUT REPORT
Merry Christmas to all and to all, a good Gameweek! If you’re celebrating a holiday over these coming days, the staff at Fantasy Football Scout truly wish you a fantastic time.
Of course, FPL managers are forced into a quick recovery from festivities, as Thursday morning’s 11:00 GMT deadline thrusts football onto our plates. Despite the tight turnaround between Gameweeks, we’ve still found time to throw out a few useful articles.
Especially as a big weekend development saw Bukayo Saka pull his hamstring and therefore dictate many of this week’s transfers. We’ve taken a deep dive into picking out his best replacements, featuring names like Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Gordon and Ismaila Sarr. Perhaps a differential like Phil Foden or Gabriel Martinelli.
Managers will need to pay special attention to these pre-match press conferences, in case hints are dropped over rotation and small knocks. At least we know Nicolas Jackson and Morgan Rogers will be available, having not yet picked up their fifth yellow card.
17 of the 18 ‘Great and the Good’ bosses own Saka and over half kept the as-yet-unpunished Matheus Cunha for his nine points. All received Mohamed Salah’s biggest haul of the season, while three exceeded 100 points thanks to Newcastle assets like hat-trick hero Alexander Isak.
Still to come before the deadline are words from FPL General, Lateriser, Pras and Zophar, plus Captain Sensible.
