After falsely being lulled into the slow pace of January’s FPL deadlines comes a sharp turnaround. Just a few days after the joys of Julian Alvarez, the frustrations of Darwin Nunez and the comeback of Erling Haaland comes another round of top-flight action.

Whether either Haaland or Trent Alexander-Arnold will be ready to start is where a lot of press conference attention will go.
