Ah, the classic FPL combination of a two-week international break being followed by a rapid sequence of multiple deadlines. Attention to all managers: remember that all Gameweek 31 decisions need to be made by Tuesday 18:00 BST.

As a result, we at Scout have focused more on the quality of articles rather than quantity, working ferociously until the whistle blows. For example, there’s a quick body count of which popular players are still available. Anthony Gordon is suspended, team-mate Jamaal Lascelles now has a long-term ACL injury and we await team news updates on the weekend knocks of Ollie Watkins and Malo Gusto. 

At least we already know that Bukayo Saka’s limping was “nothing serious”, merely fatigue. That allows him a place in our Scout Picks and keeps him as a strong captaincy contender alongside Mohamed Salah, backed by Rate My Team’s algorithm to be Gameweek 31’s top scorer. 

In the next instalment of this thrilling title race, both Arsenal and Liverpool are at home to one of the promoted trio. That’s why FPL Milanista has revealed he’ll be downgrading Watkins to then bring in Salah - the Egyptian simply seems too good to ignore.
